SQL Server connection error: "Error: 0 - No process is on the other end of the pipe", when starting / installing Business Studio

When starting / installing Business Studio I receive the following error: “Error 0 - No process is on the other end of the pipe”. How can I fix it?

A:

Install the latest Service Pack for your SQL Server version to enable TLS 1.2 support:

• For SQL 2014: Service Pack 2 for Microsoft® SQL Server® 2014, SQLEXPR_*.exe file * For SQL 2012: [[https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=56040|Service Pack 4 for Microsoft® SQL Server® 2012, SQLEXPR_*.exe file.

After the installation, restart your computer.

If you have the CryptoPro CSP program, update it to version 4.0 R4 (4.0.9963) or to the latest one.
