BSC objects are stored in the Explorer in the Objectives and measures section on the Management methods tab. There are 4 available repositories:
Strategy maps are stored in the Strategy maps repository. A strategy map is a graphical representation of the relationships between perspectives, objectives and measures.
Perspectives used to group objectives on strategy maps, are stored in the Perspectives repository. The most common perspectives are already added to the repository. New perspectives can also be easily added to the repository.
The Objectives repository is used to create and store strategic objectives. Objectives can be grouped using folder and objective objects.
Measures are stored in the Measures repositories. They can also be grouped using folder or measure objects. A measure object whose values are calculated based on the values of other measures usually form a group for these measures.
The BSC menu includes repositories and actions used for Business Studio Cockpit.

Those measures that should not be seen in Cockpit windows by a user, are listed on the Measures hidden in Cockpit tab in the User Settings (Basic tab).
Limitations of user permissions concerning objectives and measures and their properties are described in the Assign Permissions to BSC Data article.
The Run Autoimport menu item is used to run the automatic import of data (for instance, you can import measure values with it) into a Business Studio database.
