Filter Settings

This section describes the tabs of the Filter Window.

For a functional description of the Conditions tab, go to the Filter Window section.

The View tab (Fig.2) is used to select properties whose values are to be displayed in the filter result window. The View tab is applicable for filters with the "Table Window" or "Matrix Table Window" result view.

In case no properties are selected on the View tab:

1. You will either get a notification about it is when you run the filter
2. Or the filter will be run with an empty result window.

To edit the filter, use the button on the Toolbar.

The list of objects obtained as a filter result can be sorted no matter whether the property you want to use for sorting, is ticked on the View tab. Sorting can be fulfilled by several properties at the same time.

To set up the Sorting, add the required properties by clicking on the button. To remove a property from the list, click on the button.

Use the buttons located to the right of the properties list in the Sorting section to change the order of properties. The higher the property stands in the list, the higher its sorting priority is.

The Grouping tab displays all repository properties whose values can be grouped.

Attention! Properties marked for grouping are automatically included in the display list. Enabling grouping, clears the filter results display list, leaving there only those properties whose values can be grouped.

Use checkboxes on the Aggregates tab to mark the repository property aggregates you want to display. There are no checkboxes for aggregates that cannot be enabled for a property. The enabled property aggregate is automatically displayed as a filter result.
