Add a New Database

A new database can be created on the computer during the Business Studio installation process, if you select the appropriate installation option (see Installation Components ).
When you create a new database, you load a database template. Use the Create button in the Database Connection Properties window to add a new database (Figure 1).

You can upload a database from a file to an existing or a new database. It is recommended to put the files you want to upload, into the "Backup" folder. The folder is created when installing Business Studio and the predefined permissions are configured for it that allows the correct loading of databases (see the details below).

We provide you with the database files that are put into the "Backup" folder during the installation process, in case you select the appropriate installation option (see Installation Components ).
